KPMG officials confirmed Thursday that the company is on track to relocate its Short Hills Office to Headquarters Plaza in Morristown in the fall of 2026.
A firm spokesperson said the firm will take 66,000 square feet (floors 9-12) plus an additional 10,000 square feet of space on the ground floor. (News of move was announced by this reporter at the start of the year.)
“KPMG will be relocating its Short Hills office to Morristown’s HQ Plaza in Fall 2026 to better accommodate its employees in the area,” the spokesperson said. “With the addition of another 10,000 square feet in space, this move will now represent a 40% expansion in space from our current location.
“We look forward to continuing to serve our clients with excellence in this vibrant market.”
The move is another big for Morristown, which has been adding big tenants for years, and Headquarters Plaza, which recently underwent a major renovation.
HQ Plaza, which has been an anchor in Morristown since it opened in 1980, now offers a mixed-use office experience with a newly revitalized main concourse providing access to a curated selection of lifestyle amenities.
The property features the recently renovated 256-room Hyatt Regency Morristown Hotel, a 125,000-square-foot retail plaza, which includes three full-service restaurants, a gourmet café, onsite daycare center, 10-screen AMC movie theater and a 40,000-square-foot Crunch Fitness health club with an indoor swimming pool.
Tenants also benefit from having access to over 30,000 square feet of meeting space, two large ballrooms and video conferencing services managed by the Hyatt.
Then there’s this: Headquarters Plaza is close to the Morristown train station (walkable on a nice day), meaning KPMG will have direct connectivity to New York Penn Station and the firm’s new headquarters at Two Manhattan West, which will soon be opening.
