Ten N.J. Schools make Princeton Review’s ‘Best Colleges’ list

Princeton, NJIT, Stevens ranked highly for value, job placement

The Princeton Review’s list of the top colleges in the country does not include a ranking. The organization simply selects 391 universities that it feels stand above the crowd.

New Jersey had 10 entrees in the Princeton Review’s 2026 Rankings of the 391 Best Colleges.

  • Here’s the list, alphabetically:
  • Drew
  • Monmouth
  • NJIT
  • Princeton
  • Rider
  • Rowan
  • Rutgers-New Brunswick
  • Seton Hall
  • Stevens
  • TCNJ

That being said, the Princeton review does provide some categorial lists. Three schools stood out.

NJIT: It was ranked No. 27 for value and No. 10 for job placement among public schools.

Princeton: It was ranked No. 1 for value and No. 5 for job placement among private schools;

Stevens: It was ranked No. 12 for job placement among private schools
