Schenck, Price, Smith & King and Touro Law Center celebrate growth with new partnership

Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP (SPSK), a full-service law firm with over 110 years of history in New Jersey, recently hosted a networking event in partnership with Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. The event celebrated the expansion and growth of both organizations and highlighted their shared commitment to collaboration and alumni engagement.

The program was spearheaded by SPSK Associate and Touro Law alumna Georgia Reid, who worked with Touro’s Alumni Relations team to create an opportunity for legal professionals to connect. The event drew attendees including Touro Deans Anastasia Hagan, Jim Montes, and Rebecca Feinberg, alongside a number of alumni and other colleagues.

The gathering underscored SPSK’s continued growth as a firm and coincided with Touro Law’s recent expansion to a new campus in midtown Manhattan. This new location, along with its main campus on Long Island, allows Touro Law to better connect its students to the vast cultural and professional opportunities of New York City and beyond.

John Ursin, managing partner of Schenck Price, expressed his firm’s enthusiasm for the new partnership.

“SPSK was pleased to host Touro Law Administrators and Alumni,” he said. “We were impressed to learn about the specialized programs at Touro and Touro’s extensive commitment to place its graduates in great positions. We look forward to working closely with Touro Law in the future in supporting their programs and considering their graduates for our needs in the future.”

Both organizations share a deep-seated mission to not only provide legal excellence but also to serve their communities. Founded in 1912 with just two people, Schenck Price has grown to a firm of over 80 attorneys, with a long history of leadership in public institutions and charitable organizations. Similarly, Touro Law Center emphasizes a comprehensive legal education focused on both doctrinal learning and practical skills, preparing its students for professional success and service to others.

The collaboration signifies a mutually beneficial relationship that will create new pathways for professional connections, strengthen legal networks, and enhance opportunities for the next generation of lawyers.
