Wiley, the Hoboken-based publisher, added four new research journals to its series.
Advanced City, Advanced Food, Advanced Microbiome, and Advanced Psychology have each begun accepting submissions. They are part of Wiley’s Advanced Portfolio, anchored by flagship interdisciplinary journal Advanced Science and Advanced Materials.
These four new journals bringing the number of new titles launched this year to 10 and increase the collection to a total of 36 journals.
“In February, Wiley pledged to expand the Advanced Portfolio significantly by adding eight new journals by the end of the year, and we have not only kept that promise but surpassed it,” said Allyn Molina, group vice president of publishing development at Wiley. “We continue to build toward our goals of launching premium options across every field of science and providing researchers with prestigious yet accessible venues for their breakthrough work.”
