Expanding its network of multi-specialty outpatient facilities, Hackensack Meridian Health has officially opened the Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center at Freehold. Located at 3499 Route 9 North, the facility marks the network’s seventh statewide Health and Wellness Center and its second location in Monmouth County.
Designed as a one-stop-shop medical hub to combat delayed routine screenings and doctor visits, the facility brings together an extensive array of primary care and specialized services under one roof. The comprehensive service lineup includes primary care, behavioral health, chiropractic medicine, endocrinology, general surgery, diagnostic imaging, lab work, neurology, OBGYN, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rheumatology, speech therapy and vascular surgery.
“We know our patients lead busy lives, and accessing healthcare should be as simple and convenient as possible,” Bob Garrett, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health, said. “Through the opening of this wellness center, we’re reimagining the way care is delivered.”
Physicians at the Freehold site operate on the same unified electronic health record system utilized across HMH’s hospital network, allowing for seamless patient transitions and coordinated care. The opening follows other recent ambulatory expansions by the network, including the launch of a transit-hub wellness center at Metropark earlier this year.
