National boutique health care law firm Frier Levitt announced that Winston Kirton joined the firm as a partner and will serve as chair of its FDA Practice. Kirton joins the firm from BakerHostetler, where he previously co-led their FDA Practice and Life Sciences Industry Team. He will be based in the firm’s Pine Brook headquarters.
Kirton has spent his career advising domestic and international companies across the life sciences spectrum—from biopharmaceuticals and medical devices to food, dietary supplements, and cosmetics. He handles everything from corporate transactions and regulatory due diligence to compliance, manufacturing, and supply chain issues. On top of that, he is heavily involved in the industry, having recently started a four-year term on the Board of Directors for the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI) earlier this year.
Kirton came to Frier Levitt based on the firm’s dedicated focus on health care and life sciences rather than treating it as a sideline inside a massive, generalist firm.
