Jemison joins CSG Law as member in Litigation Group

Jonathan Jemison, a commercial litigator with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the Litigation Group at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi as a member, the firm announced Monday.

Jemison has represented large corporations, both domestic and international, as well as entrepreneurial and emerging growth clients in an array of complex disputes, including those involving business torts, commercial real estate leases, partnership/joint venture rights, restrictive covenants and estate litigation.

Adam Derman, Chair of the Litigation Group at CSG Law, said Jemison is a perfect fit for the firm.

“Jonathan is a fantastic addition to our already deep bench of attorneys in the Litigation Group,” he said. “His experience and versatility will only amplify the quality of service that we provide to clients.”

Jemison primarily litigates in the state and Federal courts of New York and New Jersey and before domestic arbitration panels. He said he’s eager to bring that experience to CSG.

“I am excited to join CSG Law and its Litigation Group, and I look forward to working closely with such a talented group of lawyers to serve the litigation needs of our clients,” he said.

Jemison also has significant construction litigation experience, having represented developers, owners and contractors in high-stakes disputes arising out of large-scale construction projects, including delay, defect, payment and termination claims.

Before CSG Law, Jemison was a partner at a global law firm and was based in its New Jersey and New York offices.

Jemison earned his J.D. from Rutgers-Newark Law School and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
