Amano Pizza, fresh off a top prize at last month’s International Pizza Challenge in Las
Vegas, is expanding into Monmouth County with its third New Jersey location, at the
Wall Promenade retail center.
The restaurant has signed a new 10-year lease for 1,585 square feet at 1919 U.S.
Route 35, taking over the former Frutta Bowls space on the property’s first floor. It joins Amano Pizza’s existing locations in Matawan and South Amboy.
Amano Pizza won its category at the International Pizza Challenge last month in Las
Vegas, taking a top prize for its Fisare de d’Oro pizza in the non-traditional pie category.
CBRE’s Marta Person Villa represented the landlord, RT. 35 Wall Promenade LLC, in
the lease negotiations and secured the tenant in a direct deal.
