NAI James E. Hanson to market Mercy Center’s Asbury Park campus to support ‘Under One Roof’ campaign

NAI James E. Hanson has been named the exclusive marketing and sales agent for Mercy Center’s Main Street campus. Located at 1104 and 1106-1108 Main Street, the sale of the property will directly fund the nonprofit’s mission to build a new, unified facility to serve the Greater Asbury Park area.

In a philanthropic gesture to back the organization’s fight against generational poverty, NAI James E. Hanson is contributing its full brokerage and advisory services to the assignment.

For nearly 40 years, Mercy Center—a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy—has provided critical support to thousands of local families each month through its food pantry, emergency services, and Family Resource Center. It also operates the Sisters Academy of New Jersey, a tuition-free independent middle school for girls that boasts a 100 percent high school graduation rate among its alumnae.

Currently, these vital programs operate out of separate, aging buildings. The sale of the Main Street campus is the linchpin of Mercy Center’s “Under One Roof” capital campaign, which aims to consolidate all services into a single, modern, and accessible facility.

“Bringing all of our programs together under one roof will allow us to serve our neighbors with greater dignity and reach, and partners like NAI James E. Hanson are helping make that future possible,” Kim Guadagno, president & CEO of Mercy Center said.

The property consists of a three-building, approximately 16,000-square-foot campus situated on a single consolidated parcel at the northeast corner of Main Street and Third Avenue.

The sales effort is being spearheaded by Kim Kretowicz, Senior Vice President (Healthcare & Office Specialist), and Phil Mylod, Associate.

  • Location: 1104, 1106-1108 Main Street, Asbury Park, N.J.
  • Zoning: Positioned within the city’s Main Street Redevelopment Plan area.
  • Status: Offered as a delivered opportunity with vacant possession at closing.

“The property represents a rare boutique multifamily redevelopment opportunity in the heart of downtown Asbury Park,” Kretowicz said. “Situated at the hard corner of Main Street and Third Avenue… the site is highly desirable for developers and investors looking to capitalize on the area’s growth.”
