Tropicana Atlantic City has officially opened the doors to its newly reimagined Solana Tower, marking a major milestone in the resort’s ongoing multi-million-dollar evolution. Formerly known as the West Tower, the wing has undergone a comprehensive floor-to-ceiling transformation to offer 598 redesigned rooms and suites.
The renovation is designed to bring a modern, “bright and breezy” hospitality experience to the south end of the Boardwalk, blending contemporary luxury with the classic energy of Atlantic City.
The Solana Tower redesign draws heavy inspiration from Tropicana’s iconic Palm Walk, the soaring, palm-lined corridor that serves as the resort’s signature architectural feature.
Key features of the new rooms include:
-
Tropical décor: Soft wood finishes paired with bold coastal accents and curated artwork.
-
Modern amenities: Completely updated bathrooms, high-end lighting fixtures, and integrated technology for the modern traveler.
-
Elevated comfort: A focus on warm, inviting atmospheres that act as a “refreshing home base” for guests.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to finally welcome guests to the new Solana Tower,” said Gregg Klein, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City. “After reimagining every detail, we’re thrilled to share a space where guests can relax, explore, and enjoy a fresh, modern Atlantic City experience.”
The opening of the Solana Tower is part of a broader commitment by Caesars Entertainment to revitalize its Atlantic City portfolio. Over the past several years, the company has invested hundreds of millions of dollars across Tropicana, Caesars, and Harrah’s Resort, ensuring these legacy properties remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
