Debra Rosen, a partner at Archer, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Honorable Joseph M. Nardi Jr. Distinguished Service Award by the Rutgers Law School-Camden Alumni Association.
The prestigious honor recognizes Rutgers Law graduates who have achieved extraordinary professional success, demonstrated outstanding service to the law school, and exhibited exemplary community leadership. Rosen will accept the award on Thursday, October 22, at The Merion during the Gov. James J. Florio Scholarship Benefit and Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony.
The award honors the legacy of the late Superior Court Judge and former Camden Mayor Joseph M. Nardi Jr., a 1956 graduate of Rutgers Law.
With a 40-year career at Archer, Rosen concentrates her practice on complex environmental and toxic tort litigation, along with environmental compliance and due diligence. Beyond her casework, she serves on Archer’s Board of Directors and its Equity and Inclusion Committee. She is also the founder of the Archer Supports Women Network, an internal initiative dedicated to fostering connection and advancement among women at the firm.
Her professional excellence has earned her widespread acclaim, including:
- Recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® for Environmental Law and Environmental Litigation, including being named the 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” in Cherry Hill for both categories.
- A “Mentor” honoree in the 2023 New Jersey Legal Awards.
- Multiple inclusions in New Jersey Super Lawyers for Environmental Litigation and rankings by Chambers USA.
- Honoree at the 2024 Salute to Policy Makers by the Executive Women of New Jersey.
Rosen has maintained a robust dedication to both her alma mater and civic organizations throughout her career. At Rutgers Law, she serves as Co-Chair of the Alumnae Committee, actively supports the Minority Student Program and Archer MSP Scholarship, and frequently volunteers her time for student programming and mock interviews.
