Walters, a Barnegat-based developer and manager of income-restricted apartment communities, received significant industry recognition, capturing eight prestigious awards at the 2025 New Jersey Apartment Association’s (NJAA) annual Garden State Awards gala.
The awards, judged by a panel of peers and multifamily experts, recognize the highest standards of professionalism and achievement across the state’s fiercely competitive housing market.
Walters was honored in six distinct categories, securing major company and individual achievements.
Company and property triumphs
The firm earned the coveted “Excellence in Property Management” award for Cornerstone at Toms River, a 102-unit income-restricted community. Walters was also recognized in the new “Creative Edge” category, highlighting its innovative approach to development and management.
