Keeper Ubaldo ‘El Pato’ Fillol, who led Argentina to its first World Cup title in 1978, will appear at 1776 Morristown for its World Cup kickoff match party, June 11.
The event will have two tiers of participation.
Guests can enjoy the main Kickoff Match Party inside The Suites at ’76.
General admission is $15 per person, with guests also having the option to purchase a “Hat Trick Box” for $18 featuring tacos, sliders and fries.
At the same time, the venue will host an exclusive private VIP Watch Party with Fillol inside the Liberty Lounge.
Limited to just 25 guests, the experience will feature El Pato’s wines by Algodon Wine Estates, elevated passed bites, a curated tasting experience and an intimate meet-and-greet with one of Argentina’s most celebrated soccer legends.
Following the match, El Pato will appear at the main bar for a public meet-and-greet experience until 7 p.m. Click here to reserve a suite.
Fillol, considered by many to be the top keeper in the history of Argentina, was on three World Cup teams. His appearance at 1776 Morristown is just one of many special events the restaurant has planned.
