Youth Consultation Service expands residential programs to serve vulnerable youth throughout New Jersey

Youth Consultation Service has announced the addition of seven new residential programs, which began on Nov. 1.

Through collaboration with state agencies, YCS has undertaken a rapid transition process, welcoming nearly 100 employees and the youth they support into the organization. The expansion strengthens YCS’ capacity to provide high-quality behavioral health services for children, youth, and families throughout New Jersey.

These programs align closely with YCS’ mission to support individuals with complex emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs through compassionate, therapeutic care in residential settings that promote healing and stability.

YCS President Tara Augustine explained the outline.

“Expanding our residential services through this agreement allows us to reach even more youth and families who need the stability, care, and hope that YCS programs provide,” she said. “Our growth is a direct reflection of our exceptional team’s commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that meets individuals where they are and helps them move toward brighter futures.”

With the addition of these programs, YCS now provides behavioral health and social services in 16 New Jersey counties, reinforcing its position as one of the state’s most comprehensive providers of care for individuals with complex emotional and developmental needs.
