Two Legacy Place debuts in East Brunswick: leasing launched for newest luxury phase

Garden Communities announced it officially reached a major milestone at its 25-acre Legacy Place development with the completion of Two Legacy Place in East Brunswick. This second mixed-use mid-rise building marks a significant expansion of the luxury “town-center” community located on Tices Lane, just off the Route 18 corridor.

Leasing for the new five-story building is now underway, with the first residences slated for occupancy in late winter. As a mixed-use site, Two Legacy Place adds an additional 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail to the community’s total 18,000-square-foot commercial footprint.

The delivery of Two Legacy Place introduces a suite of “next-level” social and recreational spaces designed to serve the entire 520-unit community.

New and signature amenities include:

  • Entertainment hub: Two regulation-sized bowling alleys and an elegant entertainment lounge with a fireplace.

  • Outdoor oasis: A courtyard-level swimming pool complemented by a professional putting green and bocce court.

  • Wellness & productivity: A state-of-the-art fitness center, dedicated co-working spaces with private workstations, and catering kitchens for resident events.

  • Family & pet friendly: A children’s playroom and an enclosed dog run.

The ground floor of Legacy Place is rapidly becoming a local destination. Several tenants are already operational, providing residents with immediate access to dining, wellness, and educational services.

Current retail lineup:

  • Bonesse’s Tomato Apizza: Hybrid New Haven/Trenton-style Italian dining.

  • Marley and Harley’s Creamery: Locally founded ice cream and confections shop.

  • Legacy Endodontics: A specialized dental practice.

  • H2O Nail & Wax Studio: A high-end organic beauty salon.

  • Kumon: National math and reading enrichment program.

Residences at Legacy Place range from studio alcoves to sprawling three-bedroom layouts, as well as 2.5-story townhomes with private garages.

Positioned at 110 Tices Lane, the community offers a strategic “commuter-first” location. Residents benefit from being minutes away from Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, and major employment hubs via the NJ Turnpike and Route 1. For those traveling to Manhattan, the property offers a shuttle service to the East Brunswick bus terminal.

“We’re thrilled to see Legacy Place evolving into the vibrant community we always envisioned,” Miranda Gjini, property and leasing manager said. “With Two Legacy Place now in active lease-up, we’re excited to welcome new residents and continue building momentum.”
