Doceree, the world’s first AI-powered operating system for health care marketing, has announced a significant leadership shift to spearhead its next phase of global growth. The company, headquartered in the Short Hills section of Millburn, has transitioned Thomas Shea into the newly created role of chief revenue officer (CRO), Patient Affordability and AI.
The move highlights Doceree’s strategic pivot from a precision media company into a broader technology platform that addresses two of the most pressing issues in modern health care: the high cost of treatment and the need for 24/7, compliant engagement between pharmaceutical brands and physicians.
In his new capacity, Shea will oversee the revenue strategy and market execution for Doceree’s two newest flagship platforms:
-
co-pay.com: This platform integrates directly into physician workflows and Electronic Health Records (EHRs). It surfaces financial support and co-pay assistance at the exact moment a doctor is prescribing a medication, helping to lower costs for patients and reduce “prescription abandonment.”
-
RepTwin: An “AI Rep” designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry. Unlike generic AI bots, RepTwin is brand-trained and healthcare-compliant, capable of providing 1-to-1 personalized interactions with doctors across web, voice, and messaging platforms at any hour of the day.
The transition comes as Doceree enters its fifth year of operation. Founded by Harshit Jain, a physician-turned-entrepreneur, the company has rapidly scaled its presence within the New Jersey biotech corridor by focusing on “contextual intelligence.”
“As we expand into Patient Affordability and AI, we’re investing in capabilities that move us beyond precision media into access enablement and always-on engagement,” Harshit Jain, founder & global CEO. “Thomas’s new role ensures disciplined execution as we scale these platforms.”
Shea, who previously served as Doceree’s general CRO and helped scale its commercial partnerships, is no stranger to the Garden State’s professional landscape. A graduate of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), his career has spanned over a decade in the health care and pharmaceutical digital media space, including senior roles at PulsePoint and Adprime Health.
“Healthcare marketing is evolving from precision messaging to precision enablement and continuous engagement,” Shea said. “With co-pay.com, we are strengthening access intelligence within physician workflows. With RepTwin, we are enabling compliant, on-demand engagement that supports pharma teams at scale.”
With New Jersey serving as a global hub for the pharmaceutical industry, Doceree’s expansion in Short Hills reinforces the state’s status as a leader in “HealthTech.” By building tools that sit directly inside the software physicians use every day (like Epic or Cerner), Doceree is attempting to close the gap between a doctor’s clinical intent and a patient’s ability to actually afford and start their treatment.
