Eatontown-based FirstService Residential earned two statewide awards from the Community Associations Institute’s New Jersey chapter (CAI‑NJ) at its annual awards ceremony in February.
Concordia Homeowners Association (CHA), located in Monroe Township and managed by FirstService Residential, was named Community of the Year (1,000+ units).
CHA’s board was recognized for demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the community association industry through education, advocacy, and best practices.
Additionally, Michael Canberg, general manager at FirstService Residential, was honored with the Candice Bladt Community Manager of the Year Award for his support of associations and advancement of CAI‑NJ’s mission.
FirstService Residential has been growing its business in New Jersey lately.
In December, FirstService Residential was selected to provide full-service property management for the Waterside Condominium Association, a luxury high-rise community along the Hudson River in Edgewater. In July, it was selected as the property management company for Society Hill at Piscataway Condominium Association in Piscataway.
