Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. announced the appointment of Jeffrey Isaacs as the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO). This newly created executive position is designed to centralize firmwide business operations and support an aggressive era of strategic expansion for the storied law firm.
The move comes at a “pivotal moment” for Porzio, which has recently seen a flurry of growth-oriented activity, including:
- The opening of a new office in Naples, Florida.
- The relocation of its corporate headquarters.
- A 50% expansion of its Manhattan office footprint.
- A comprehensive firmwide brand refresh.
As COO, Isaacs will oversee the firm’s critical business functions, including finance, technology, marketing, personnel, and facilities. His primary mandate is to translate Porzio’s high-level strategic priorities into actionable operational initiatives.
“As Porzio continues to grow and adapt to meet our clients’ needs, we’ve been intentional about strengthening the firm’s infrastructure and leadership,” Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr., Managing Principal of Porzio, said. “Jeff brings the operational leadership and perspective needed to help ensure that growth is thoughtful, integrated, and aligned with our long‑term vision.”
Isaacs is a former practicing attorney with over 20 years of experience managing complex legal and professional services organizations. He has an established track record of modernizing legal service delivery to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Before joining Porzio, Isaacs held senior leadership roles at major global institutions, including: KPMG, Goldman Sachs and Prudential Financial.
His background in both outside counsel and in-house operations roles provides him with a unique, 360-degree perspective on the legal industry’s evolving landscape.
The firm hinted that Isaacs’ arrival precedes several “as-yet-unannounced initiatives” aimed at serving clients in innovative ways. Isaacs noted that he was drawn to the firm’s current momentum and its commitment to future-proofing its business model.
“It’s clear the firm is positioning itself for the future while staying grounded in client service and collaboration,” Isaacs said. “I’m excited to help translate that vision into operational excellence.”
