Sharbell Development Corp. debuts multigenerational condominium project in Robbinsville

As the demand for flexible housing options continues to rise in Central Jersey, Sharbell Development Corp. has officially unveiled its latest residential venture: Springside Lofts and Springside Lofts 55+.

The 150-unit condominium community, located in the heart of Mercer County, introduces a unique multigenerational living model that blends traditional market-rate residences with a dedicated 55+ component within a single, cohesive neighborhood. The project is now open for nonbinding sales.

The development features three buildings designed to serve a “continuum of life stages”:

  • Springside Lofts: Two buildings containing 100 market-rate, non-age-restricted condominiums.
  • Springside Lofts 55+: A third building offering 50 age-restricted market-rate units tailored specifically for active adult residents.

“Buyers today are looking for flexibility in how and where they live,” Tom Troy, president of Sharbell Development Corp said. “By offering both traditional condominiums and a dedicated 55+ component within one community, we are designed to accommodate the continuum of life stages while maintaining a cohesive residential experience.”

All residences are designed for ease of use, featuring one-level living with elevator access to all floors. Floor plans include one- and two-bedroom layouts—with select homes offering additional den space—ranging from approximately 849 to 1,454 square feet.

Each home includes a private balcony or patio, with modern finishes and open-concept designs. Pricing for the new community starts at $380,000, positioning it as a competitive option in the Mercer County market.

At the heart of the community is a 4,240-square-foot clubhouse designed to foster interaction among all residents. Planned amenities include:

  • A state-of-the-art fitness center and dedicated yoga studio.
  • A sports lounge and game room for socializing.
  • An outdoor pool, grilling area, and pickleball court.

Strategically located for commuters and culture seekers alike, Springside Lofts offers quick access to the Princeton Junction and Hamilton train stations, providing a direct link to New York City and Philadelphia. The community is also just a short drive from the shopping, dining, and historical attractions of downtown Princeton.

The launch of Springside Lofts reflects a broader shift in the New Jersey real estate market toward “lifestyle communities” that allow families to remain close to one another—such as adult children living near their retiring parents—while maintaining their own independent spaces and age-appropriate environments.

As Robbinsville continues to grow as a residential hub, Sharbell’s latest project aims to provide a sustainable, high-quality housing format that evolves alongside its residents.
