Princeton Strategic Communications climbed to No. 106 in O’Dwyer’s 2026 ranking of independent public relations firms, its highest placement yet and the third straight year it has moved up.
The firm started at No. 122 in 2023, climbed to 119 in 2024 and 112 in 2025, and now sits at 106 — a steady three-year crawl that also puts it among the top five New Jersey-based firms on this year’s list.
The ranking, published annually by industry trade O’Dwyer’s, is based on reported agency fees with supporting financial documentation. PSC’s reported fees grew from $1.93 million in 2023 to $2.65 million this year — roughly 37 percent growth over three years.
“We’ve grown because clients continue to trust us with important work year after year, and because we’ve built a team that consistently delivers for them,” Managing Partner Ethan Andersen said. “Agency rankings ultimately reflect relationships, and we’re grateful for the long-term partnerships that have made this growth possible.”
Founded in 2012, PSC handles media relations, crisis communications, digital strategy, paid media and brand positioning for corporations, nonprofits, schools and public sector clients. The growth hasn’t been organic alone — earlier this year, the firm acquired Nonprofit Partners, an agency known for its work with healthcare systems and community coalitions, adding specialized nonprofit and healthcare expertise to its roster.
PSC also operates alongside two affiliated firms: Princeton Public Affairs Group, the state’s largest public affairs shop, and Winning Strategies Washington, a bipartisan federal relations firm in D.C. Together, the three give clients a foothold in communications work at both the state and federal level.
“We’re fortunate to work with clients who have trusted us for years and a team that is deeply committed to helping them succeed,” Andersen said. “This recognition belongs as much to our people and our clients as it does to the firm itself.”
