In a significant move to reshape the northern New Jersey legal landscape, Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, P.C. announced its expansion into Bergen County on Weednesday. The firm has integrated seven attorneys from the well-established Bergen County-based firm, Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman, P.C.
This strategic combination unites two firms with deep roots in the state. While Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman brings nearly 50 years of experience in family law, commercial litigation, and real estate, Einhorn Barbarito arrives with over 65 years of service, primarily based in Morris County.
For Einhorn Barbarito, the acquisition establishes a vital physical footprint in Bergen County, significantly broadening its reach. For the incoming team, the merger provides a larger, full-service platform that enhances the resources available to their existing clients.
“Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman has earned the respect of clients, judges, and fellow practitioners throughout New Jersey over decades of outstanding work,” Matheu Nunn, co-managing partner of Einhorn Barbarito said. “They have built exceptional practices and share our dedication to the values and standards that have long defined our firm.”
Leadership from both firms emphasized that the integration is designed to increase service depth without compromising the boutique-style personal attention clients expect. By combining forces, the expanded firm can now offer a wider array of specialized disciplines, including expanded Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), estate planning, and enhanced commercial litigation capabilities.
“This addition allows our firm to better serve our Bergen County clients while broadening the services we can provide throughout northern New Jersey,” Gary Botwinick, co-managing partner of Einhorn Barbarito said.
The transition was driven by a mutual commitment to long-term client relationships and high-level legal advocacy. Richard Weiner, managing shareholder of Aronsohn Weiner Salerno & Kaufman, noted that the cultural alignment between the two firms was a key factor in the decision to join forces.
“We were attracted to Einhorn Barbarito because of its longstanding reputation, breadth of talent, collaborative culture, and emphasis on long-term client relationships,” Weiner said.
Gerald Salerno added, “Joining Einhorn Barbarito allows us to build on that foundation while giving clients access to a deeper bench of talent and broader capabilities.”
This expansion marks a new chapter for the combined firm as it looks to leverage its increased size and geographic reach to better serve clients across the northern New Jersey region.
