Memorial Day weekend is just a couple of weeks away. What are area business and tourism experts predicting for the Jersey Shore? What are some of the emerging trends for the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries in the region?
A panel of experts will offer their thoughts, take questions from the public and look back at 2024 at the 17th annual Jersey Shorecast on May 21 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room at the Stockton University Atlantic City campus.
The panel will be moderated by Nicholas Huba, the digital editor of The Press of Atlantic City.
The panelists include: Karina Anthony, executive director of Marketing for Visit Atlantic City; Oliver Cooke, associate professor of Economics at Stockton and editor of the South Jersey Economic Review; Joann DelVescio, executive director of the New Jersey Campground Owners and Outdoor Lodging Association; Ben Rose, the director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority; and Jane Bokunewicz, LIGHT’s faculty director, will provide some opening remarks and some gaming and tourism statistics from last year.
There will be a Q&A session after the panel and questions may also be submitted in advance to [email protected] with “Shorecast Question” in the subject line.
Participants can register in advance for the in-person or virtual session. For more information, call 609-626-3859.
