As part of its continued investment in its Tax practice, EisnerAmper has announced the appointment of Tax Partner Ramya Bala as its Global Tax Technology Leader.
The newly created role underscores the firm’s commitment to technology and artificial intelligence (AI) as essential components of how modern tax services are delivered, scaled, and enhanced. In this capacity, Bala will oversee global tax technology and AI strategy, establishing governance and best practices for responsible adoption while supporting education and enablement across the Tax practice.
Working closely with EisnerAmper’s Tax leadership, Bala will ensure that innovation is thoughtfully aligned with business needs, client outcomes, and rigorous quality standards.
“Technology and AI are reshaping the tax profession and how we think about client service, value creation, and advisory work,” Michael Laveman, EisnerAmper Managing Partner of Tax said. “As client needs and the tax landscape continue to evolve, it’s critical we leverage technology to continue adding value for clients. With her extensive background in tax, technology, and global operations, Ramya is well positioned to help shape the next generation of EisnerAmper tax practitioners.”
Bala’s leadership comes at a time when the accounting and advisory sector is increasingly looking toward automated and intelligence-driven solutions to navigate complex global tax environments.
“Our focus is on understanding where our people and technology intersect, how we can apply technology to become better business advisors, and how we can help clients’ businesses grow,” Bala said. “It’s truly an exciting time to navigate the leading-edge of tax technology.”
