Kearny Bank’s North Bergen branch recently announced that Latita Persaud has been named the new assistant vice president/retail relationship manager where she will be overseeing all aspects of the branch’s sales and operations.
Persaud – who holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from New Jersey City University – joined Kearny Bank in 2022 as a retail client experience manager.
With more than a decade of overall professional experience in the banking sector, Persaud is no stranger to interactions with corporate and government relationships. She regularly interacts with Kearny Bank’s corporate office in Fairfield related to government banking and has ongoing relationships with various housing authorities throughout the Hudson County area.
“Our branch is located in a relatively urban area, with many of our clients living in large, residential buildings,” Persaud said. “In addition, the owners of many of these condominiums and apartment structures are commercial clients of ours. So for me, it makes perfect sense to have expertise in government banking and to be a familiar face to our local municipal housing authorities.”
