Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, a Jersey City-based active asset manager and independent private partnership, unveiled a brand refresh and new visual identity today. Founded in 1929, the firm currently manages approximately $258 billion in assets under management (AUM) for institutional and individual clients across public and private markets, including fixed income, equities, municipals, and alternatives.
The updated branding is designed to reflect the significant growth Lord Abbett has achieved over the past decade, including the expansion of its global footprint, institutional platform, and investment offerings.
The firm’s refreshed presentation emphasizes the principles that have guided it for nearly a century: independent thinking, deliberate long-term decision-making, and agility in navigating volatile markets.
Over the last ten years, Lord Abbett has intentionally expanded its investment capabilities across public and private markets to offer clients broader ways to access its asset management expertise.
“As we’ve expanded our capabilities and reach, we’ve strengthened our ability to serve more clients and meet more of their investment needs,” Doug Sieg, managing partner and CEO of Lord Abbett said. “Today, we can play a larger role as an investment partner to our clients, bringing more of Lord Abbett’s expertise to bear across changing markets. Our new brand better reflects the firm we’ve become and where we’re headed, while remaining grounded in the principles that have defined Lord Abbett since our founding in 1929.”
The brand overhaul touches all aspects of Lord Abbett’s visual and verbal identity across its worldwide offices and client-facing materials:
-
Wordmark Redesign: The firm’s updated logo removes previous standalone symbols, placing the Lord Abbett name front and center to present a modern, confident look.
-
Digital & Physical Rollout: The refreshed brand identity is live across the firm’s website (www.lordabbett.com), digital channels, global offices, and client literature.
-
Consistent Global Presence: The updated design elements aim to create a cohesive presentation across diverse markets and international client audiences.
