Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation and Peapack Private Bank & Trust have announced the appointment of Edward McGorry as senior managing director, client advisor.
Operating out of the bank’s Garden City, New York office, McGorry will focus on delivering customized banking, lending, investment, and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners across the region.
McGorry joins Peapack Private with more than 35 years of financial services experience spanning private banking, commercial banking, wealth management, and relationship management.
Most recently, McGorry served as senior vice president and Private Wealth Advisor at U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management in New York, where he led multidisciplinary advisory teams providing lending, wealth planning, and strategic financial guidance to high-net-worth clients.
His extensive industry background also includes senior leadership and private banking roles at major institutions, including:
- Wells Fargo Private Bank: Senior Vice President, Senior Private Banker in Melville, New York, collaborating with middle-market and commercial teams.
- TD Bank Private Client Group: Senior Private Client Advisor.
- U.S. Trust / Bank of America Private Wealth Management: Vice President and Senior Private Banker.
- Citigroup & Christie’s Inc.: Managing financial relationships and art-market advisory services.

McGorry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Arizona and an MBA from DePaul University.
Active in regional civic and advisory organizations, he serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Art Law, is a former board member of Port Jefferson Lacrosse, and regularly volunteers with the Knights of Columbus and Island Harvest Food Bank.
