NJBankers honors 15 N.J. banks with community service awards

The New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) recognized 15 financial institutions for their exceptional dedication to social responsibility and community impact during its annual Banking on the Future Conference on Oct. 6.

The NJBankers Community Service Awards highlight the profound difference banks make across the state through charitable contributions, employee volunteer programs, and local initiatives. Between 2025 and 2026, this year’s award recipients collectively donated over $24 million in charitable contributions, while employees contributed more than 65,000 volunteer hours to support local nonprofits.

“New Jersey banks play a vital role in strengthening the economic well-being of our state and the communities they serve,” Brittany Wheeler, NJBankers VP/Director of Government Affairs, said. “From volunteering at local food banks and offering financial literacy programs to sponsoring essential community initiatives and events, banks demonstrate an unwavering commitment to making a difference.”
