Flaster Greenberg P.C. announced that Jeffrey Cohen, a shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and member of the Board of Directors, has been named to New Jersey’s statewide roster of court-approved civil mediators.
Under New Jersey Court Rule 1:40, Cohen is now qualified to assist litigants in resolving Civil, General Equity, and Probate cases. His appointment enables him to serve as a mediator in eligible matters across the state, offering parties an efficient and cost-effective alternative to prolonged courtroom litigation.
Cohen brings years of commercial and civil litigation experience representing businesses and individuals to his new mediation role.
“Jeff’s addition to the roster… is a testament to his exceptional legal judgment, professionalism, and ability to bring parties together,” Steven Poulathas, Flaster Greenberg co-managing shareholder, said.
The New Jersey Judiciary’s Civil Mediation Program aims to help participants explore settlement opportunities, reducing the time and expense associated with traditional trials.
