Urban Edge Properties has announced that Lodi Commons, its neighborhood shopping center in Lodi, is now fully leased following a 1,694-square-foot lease agreement with Tahini’s Mediterranean.
The fast-casual restaurant, known for its fresh Middle Eastern cuisine, will bring a new dining option to the center while marking its official expansion into the New Jersey market.
“The addition of Tahini’s completes the leasing at Lodi Commons and reinforces the strength of this neighborhood center’s tenant mix,” Ronnie Bertrand, director of leasing for Urban Edge, said. “Our focus is on curating complementary retailers, services and dining that meet the everyday needs of the surrounding community and drive consistent traffic to the center.”
Lodi Commons, located in a densely populated residential area with easy access from Memorial Drive and Washington Street, is anchored by Dollar Tree and Burger King. The center features a variety of essential retail and service providers, including a soon-to-open Advance Auto Parts adjacent to Dollar Tree, a liquor store, a nail salon, and a USPS location.
Originating out of Ontario, Canada, Tahini’s Mediterranean has built a rapidly growing U.S. presence by offering fresh daily salads, authentic shawarmas, and bowls.
In the transaction, Urban Edge Properties was represented by Chelsea Reizner of RJ Brunelli & Co, while Tahini’s was represented by Greg Parassio of Booth Street.
