GoNetspeed, the Northeast’s largest independent fiber internet provider, officially announced a major $43 million investment to expand its 100% fiber-optic network into four New Jersey communities. The expansion will bring high-speed, reliable connectivity to more than 34,000 residents and businesses in the City of Rahway, Clark Township, Linden and Woodbridge.
Bringing high-speed choice to New Jersey
This move marks GoNetspeed’s second major expansion effort in New Jersey, following a recent $13.6 million investment in East Brunswick and South River. By providing residents with access to symmetrical upload and download speeds ranging from 500 Mbps to 6 Gbps, the company aims to offer a competitive, future-ready alternative for those who rely on high-performance internet for daily work, education, and recreation.
“Expanding GoNetspeed’s network into New Jersey has been incredibly exciting, and we’re proud to soon welcome the Rahway area as our next connected community in our 11th state,” Tom Perrone, GoNetspeed chief operating officer said. “As more people rely on strong, dependable internet for nearly every part of daily life, we’re looking forward to bringing New Jersey residents and businesses a better-connected experience built to support the way they live and work.”

Construction is slated to begin soon, and as network availability expands through each municipality, residents and business owners will be able to sign up for service.
