Stevens & Lee bolsters litigation team with addition of shareholder Catherine Pastrikos Kelly

Stevens & Lee announced today that seasoned litigator Catherine Pastrikos Kelly has joined the firm’s Litigation Department as a shareholder. Her appointment is the latest in a series of lateral hires designed to strengthen the firm’s presence throughout the New Jersey/New York metro region.

“Catherine is a superb litigator with an impressive track record in the courtroom,” William Thornton, Jr., president and CEO of Stevens & Lee said. “She is adept at handling complex litigation across disciplines and borders and advising companies on pre-litigation strategy – and all with a focus on carefully tailored advice and client service excellence. Catherine is a natural fit for the firm and a tremendous resource for our clients.”

Kelly advises businesses and stakeholders on navigating high-stakes business disputes, leveraging extensive experience in both state and federal courts. Her practice spans a wide range of complex matters, including:

  • Contract and shareholder litigation

  • Employment disputes

  • Fraud claims and business torts

Clients rely on her counsel for her combination of seasoned judgment and results-driven advocacy aimed at achieving strategic goals.

Notably, Kelly brings a unique international perspective to the firm. As a Greek American attorney with strong ties to the United Kingdom, she possesses a deep understanding of Greek, British and American commercial and legal norms. This makes her a particularly effective advocate for Greek and British clients navigating legal matters and business disputes within the U.S.

In addition to her professional practice, Kelly is deeply involved in civic and legal organizations. She is a member of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, where she co-directs the Endorsements Committee. Furthermore, she is a founder, director, and general counsel for the Children’s Light Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every child in the foster system has access to recreational and enriching activities.
