DIG Architecture promotes Jaime Masler Beach to principal in landmark 20th anniversary year

DIG Architecture (DIG), a prominent regional firm with offices in New Brunswick, Philadelphia and New York City, has announced the promotion of Jaime Masler Beach to the position of principal. The announcement arrives as the firm celebrates its 20th anniversary and continues to expand its footprint in the educational, civic and mixed-use sectors.

With 14 years of tenure at DIG and over 25 years of industry experience, Masler Beach has become a cornerstone of the firm’s leadership. In her new role as principal, she will continue to oversee project delivery standards while driving business development across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.

Masler Beach has earned a reputation for managing complex, high-stakes projects with a focus on social infrastructure. Her work is guided by the philosophy that public spaces—such as libraries, universities, and government facilities—should receive the same level of architectural innovation as private, high-end developments.

“Jaime is a driving force behind some of our most complex and impactful projects,” Jeff Venezia, DIG’s chief operating officer and a co-founding principal said. “Her promotion reflects an unwavering commitment to design excellence and an innate ability to foster deep, collaborative relationships.”

Masler Beach’s portfolio includes more than $200 million in active civic and institutional assignments, notably:

  • Union County Government Complex: Leading the $140 million civic campus transformation.
  • Kean University: Overseeing a $70 million academic facility renovation.
  • Stockton University: Directing the $18 million Bjork Library transformation.
  • Long Branch Free Public Library: Managing the $6.2 million restoration of the historic Carnegie-era facility.

Recently recognized as one of the 2026 Women of Influence in Architecture, Masler Beach is also a vocal advocate for evolving industry culture.

“Managing a project successfully goes far beyond tracking metrics and staying on budget,” Masler Beach said. “It’s about building consensus among diverse groups to deliver meaningful infrastructure. While the process demands tremendous focus and resilience, keeping a sense of levity helps to navigate complex challenges and ultimately design public environments that truly elevate the community.”

Beyond her project work, Masler Beach is deeply involved in architectural education and community outreach. A registered architect in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Thomas Jefferson University and remains active in AIA New Jersey and Professional Women in Construction (PWC). She also dedicates significant time to mentoring the next generation, leading community stewardship activities and organizing DIG’s annual “Bring Your Child to Work Day.”
