Newark-based Voyager Trucking Corporation, a prominent provider of waste transportation and transfer station management services, announced its acquisition of Vision Transport, a regional hauler based in Fairview, specializing in municipal solid waste services across the Mid-Atlantic.
The merger brings together two established New Jersey-based operators, creating one of the region’s premier platforms for long-haul waste transportation solutions. The combination leverages the integrated strengths of both companies—shared values, strong reputations for safety and reliability, and deep customer relationships in the public and private sectors.
“Vision has built an exceptional business with a strong service culture and a commitment to operational excellence,” Tom DiDonato, CEO of Voyager Trucking Corporation said. “This partnership enhances our capabilities, deepens our footprint, and positions us to provide even greater value to our customers. We look forward to integrating Vision’s talented team and continuing to invest in growth across our network.”
Vision Transport, founded in 1999, operates across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, serving integrated waste companies and environmental services firms. The acquisition significantly enhances Voyager’s ability to serve a broader customer base through a larger, integrated fleet and expanded operational expertise.
Tim Markoglu, CEO of Vision Transport, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership. “Joining Voyager represents an exciting new chapter for our company. Together, we will be able to offer expanded resources and capacity while maintaining the high-quality service our customers have come to expect.”
The combined business will be led by DiDonato, with Markoglu continuing in a senior executive position. To ensure customer continuity, the Vision brand and employees will remain in place, supporting ongoing expansion initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic region.
