Dress for Success Northern New Jersey – 10 Counties (DFSNNJ) has announced a new community partnership with Optimum, a leading provider of fiber internet and mobile services. The collaboration aims to bolster the nonprofit’s mission of providing free career readiness and development programs to unemployed and under-employed women throughout the region.
The partnership comes at a time of continued growth for DFSNNJ, which served nearly 2,500 women in 2025.
Optimum kicked off the partnership with a multi-faceted contribution designed to address both the professional and personal needs of DFSNNJ clients. The company donated $1,000 in financial support alongside more than 50 professional outfits, ensuring that local women have access to high-quality attire for job interviews and the modern workplace.
Beyond the donation, Optimum employees took a hands-on approach by volunteering at the DFSNNJ facility. The team helped sort professional clothing donations and assembled makeup gift bags for program participants, providing an extra boost of confidence for women entering or returning to the workforce.
“Partnerships like this allow us to continue providing no-fee programs that help women gain confidence, secure employment, and move toward long-term economic mobility for themselves and their families,” Loraimy Kendall, executive director of DFSNNJ said.
For Optimum, the partnership is part of a broader strategy to deepen its local presence across New Jersey. By supporting regional nonprofits, the company aims to connect customers to essential resources that go beyond digital connectivity.
