Law firm A.Y. Strauss announced that Jeffrey Davis has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate group, marking the 14th attorney and seventh new partner to join the Livingston-based firm in 2026.
Davis brings over 20 years of experience handling complex business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and joint ventures. Representing private equity firms, family businesses, startups, and established enterprises across industries such as technology, healthcare, and consumer products, he advises clients throughout every stage of the corporate lifecycle.
Managing Partner Aaron Strauss highlighted that Davis’s extensive transactional background will deliver significant value to the firm’s expanding client base as it continues its rapid upward trajectory.
Davis specializes in guiding clients through entity formation, growth strategies, day-to-day corporate governance, and complex succession and exit planning.
Davis’s arrival follows a series of strategic lateral hires and a recent merger with Newman, Simpson & Cohen, LLP, reinforcing A.Y. Strauss’s position as a growing force in the legal market.
