Trenk Isabel Siddiqi & Shahdanian hires three and expands services

Trenk Isabel Siddiqi & Shahdanian P.C. has hired the Hon. Ned M. Rosenberg, J.S.C. (Ret.), and Christopher P. Gengaro and launched four new practice groups: Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Family Law, Corporate and Business Law, and Real Estate Transactions.

Additionally, Marsha M. Moore, a land use and redevelopment attorney with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the firm as a Partner.

Rosenberg, a retired judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, joins as Of Counsel and will chair the new ADR Practice Group, providing mediation and arbitration services. Gengaro joins as a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and will chair the new Family Law, Corporate and Business Law, and Real Estate Transactions practice groups. Previously, Rosenberg and Gengaro practiced at Lentz & Gengaro LLP.

As chair of Family Law, Gengaro will oversee a team representing clients in divorce proceedings, child custody and support disputes, post-judgment matters, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. The Corporate and Business Law Practice Group advises businesses on entity formation, corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional matters. The Real Estate Transactions Practice Group represents developers, builders, investors, businesses and individuals in commercial and residential acquisitions and sales, leasing, and real estate investment structures.

“We have worked with both attorneys over the years and look forward to building on those relationships,” said Richard D. Trenk, director of the firm. “Their experience strengthens our ability to serve clients across a broad range of legal matters.”

Moore guides clients through development projects from land acquisition and approvals to commercial financing and leasing. She negotiates redevelopment agreements, addresses affordable housing restrictions, secures public incentives, and appears before planning boards, zoning boards and historic commissions.

Her redevelopment experience includes Newark’s Museum Parc, a mixed-use, mixed-income development; a 4,216-square-foot gallery for the Newark Museum of Art; and 2,598 square feet of ground-floor retail space. She has also represented developers in the redevelopment of the former Paramount Theater site into a 16-story, mixed-use project.

Moore will work with Reginald Jenkins, Jr., Chair of the firm’s Land Use and Redevelopment Practice Group.

“Marsha is a gifted land use attorney whose work transforms communities,” Trenk said. “Together, Marsha and Reggie bring exceptional experience and leadership to our Land Use and Redevelopment practice.”

Trenk Isabel Siddiqi & Shahdanian has offices in Livingston, Hackensack and New York City.
