Jeffrey Shane has recently been appointed chief commercial officer of Experic, the company announced Wednesday.
Shane has been on the board of directors for Experic since 2018, and most recently served as president for equipment manufacturer Harro Höfliger, capping his near 30 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
With Harro Höfliger, the business expanded beyond equipment to support development and commercialization services for clients through its Pharma Services Division. Experic was created after recognizing a gap in their offering for a clinical trial materials solution showing the interlinking between the two organizations.
Shane links his time on the board and praises the next steps for Experic.
“Having served on Experic’s Board of Directors since its inception, I have an in-depth understanding of the company’s unique capabilities and its mission,” he said. “I look forward to working closely with the leadership team and our talented commercial group to drive the next phase of Experic’s growth.”
Experic’s unique partnership with Harro Höfliger brings the latter’s technology to Experic’s facility in Cranbury. These include capsule filling and inhalation drug development capabilities, as well as innovative machine platforms and packaging systems.
