Ora reaches 50% leased as Hackensack luxury housing demand accelerates

Hackensack’s newest luxury apartments — the Ora — has reached 50% leased just three months after opening — a reflection of the strong demand for luxury housing in the city’s rapidly growing market.

Featuring 270 residences and a curated amenity collection, the residential community was developed by The Hampshire Companies and its project partners, Russo Development and Riverbank Management. Manhattan-based The Marketing Directors serves as the building’s exclusive marketing and leasing agents.

Standing at the corner of Main Street and Berry Street, Ora serves as the gateway to Hackensack’s expanding dining, shopping, and entertainment scene.

The community offers studio, one- and two-bedroom residences featuring expansive 10-foot ceilings, oversized windows, luxury plank flooring, in-home washers and dryers, and stylish kitchens with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Bathrooms are designed with porcelain-tiled floors and full-height ceramic-tiled walls for a sleek, modern look. Monthly rents start from the $2,100s, with grand opening incentives including two months free on a 14-18-month lease for new applicants.

Ora’s amenities cater to every lifestyle, including a seventh-story rooftop club room with a bar and billiards that opens to a sprawling outdoor terrace featuring fire pits, lounge seating, and sweeping views of the New York City skyline.

Residents can also enjoy a first-floor courtyard with BBQ grills and dining areas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, ample co-working spaces, private conference rooms, and a pet spa.

Ora also provides concierge services, package lockers, and on-site garage parking with electric vehicle charging stations. The community’s nearly 9,000 square feet of ground-level retail space offers residents additional shopping and dining experiences just steps from their front doors.

“Hackensack’s emergence as a premier residential destination has been fueled by a strong regional employer base, a growing array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, and exceptional accessibility to northern New Jersey and New York City,” James E. Hanson II, president & CEO of The Hampshire Companies said.
