Poker enthusiasts and championship contenders will soon head to the Marina District as Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City prepares to host a premier World Series of Poker® Circuit (WSOP-C) stop. Running from Thursday, August 13, through Monday, August 24, the high-stakes tournament series features a massive $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
As one of the regional tour’s standout destinations, Harrah’s Resort combines competitive poker action with world-class hospitality, entertainment, and culinary amenities.
“We’re proud to welcome a World Series of Poker Circuit stop to Harrah’s Resort,” Joseph Giunta, senior vice president and general manager said. “It’s a natural fit for us and speaks to the strength of our gaming experiences. There’s nothing like the energy these events bring, from seasoned players to guests just looking to be a part of the action, and we’re excited to see it come to life across the entire resort.”
As the world’s premier regional poker tour, the WSOP Circuit delivers massive payouts and elite-level competition across a calendar-year schedule spanning January through December.
Competitors taking part in the Atlantic City series will vie for official WSOP gold rings. In addition to cash payouts and championship hardware, all gold ring winners throughout the 2026 WSOP Circuit season secure an exclusive $5,000 WSOP package—covering both tournament buy-in and hotel accommodations—redeemable for WSOP Paradise, scheduled for December 2026 at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas.
Beyond the tournament felt, players and visitors can experience Harrah’s signature resort offerings, ranging from fine dining and nightlife to relaxing luxury amenities.
