Real estate developer Walters has officially launched the housing lottery for Kingsway Estates I, a brand-new, 66-unit premium income-restricted apartment community located at 1 Fair Share Drive in Woolwich Township, Gloucester County.
Applications for the lottery are currently being accepted through Friday, Nov. 6. Following the close of the application window, the official random selection drawing will take place on Nov.12.
Owned by Fair Share Housing Development and built and managed by Walters, Kingsway Estates I represents the first phase of a broader two-phase initiative, with Kingsway Estates II slated to follow. Construction is progressing swiftly, with the initial phase on track for completion by February 2027, and the second phase expected to wrap up by the end of March 2027.
Situated in western Gloucester County near the Delaware River, the property offers premium affordable housing alongside well-maintained grounds, convenient amenities, and proximity to local parks, dining, and retail options.
The community features a variety of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts designed to maximize style and space. Apartment interiors come equipped with:
- Full-size washers and dryers
- Fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops
- Mini blinds
Community highlights include a multipurpose clubhouse featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, computer workstations, an outdoor children’s playground, a basketball court, and on-site parking. Residents will also have access to a robust program of supportive services on-site.
Kingsway Estates I units are designated for residents earning at or below 60 percent of the area median income, with rental rates scaled to gross annual household income.
