Southend Lofts to launch sales, redefining urban living in Hoboken

A new era of luxury condominium living is coming to Hoboken this fall with the official launch of sales for Southend Lofts. Developer Taurasi Group is set to begin sales in October for the visionary project at 38 Jackson Street, which transforms a historic industrial building into a vibrant residential and lifestyle destination.

The development will feature 110 one- to five-bedroom condominium homes, with initial occupancy expected later this fall. Prospective buyers can now register as VIPs at www.southendlofts.com for exclusive updates and early access to the furnished model homes and amenities. Sales and marketing are being handled by Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing.

A fusion of history and modernity

Southend Lofts breathes new life into a distinguished piece of Hoboken’s industrial heritage, once the site of the Davis Baking Powder and My-T-Fine Pudding factories. The original 1893 five-story building has been meticulously restored and expanded with new wings rising up to nine stories.

Designed by Nastasi Architects, the project seamlessly blends the building’s historic DNA, with its oversized windows, soaring ceilings, and exposed columns, with a refined, modern aesthetic. The interiors, envisioned by D&G Interiors + Design, feature elevated finishes and contemporary layouts, with virtually no two homes being identical. The residences are distinguished by their vast interiors, with ceilings up to 15 feet high and many featuring private balconies or terraces with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.

The Penthouses offer a unique experience with modern four- and five-bedroom duplex homes that include elegant interiors, private terraces, and outdoor kitchens.

Unparalleled amenities and community hub

Southend Lofts sets a new benchmark for urban living with its exceptional amenities, offering more than 20,000 square feet of exclusive indoor and outdoor spaces. The centerpiece is The Overlook, a sprawling 8th-floor rooftop oasis featuring a 40-foot swimming pool with panoramic views of Manhattan. This lushly landscaped terrace also includes open green spaces and shaded lounge areas.

The development also boasts a dramatic indoor public atrium topped with a translucent canopy, similar to the one at The Shed at Hudson Yards. This space will house 25,000 square feet of destination retail and dining, serving as a unique neighborhood gathering place for residents and the broader community.

For added convenience, the property includes an on-site enclosed parking garage. Its location across from the new Southwest Resiliency Park offers immediate access to green space, while its proximity to major routes provides easy access to the Holland Tunnel and New Jersey Turnpike.

Pricing for the new homes will start at $795,000.
