Bielat Santore & Company, the hospitality real estate firm, has officially announced the successful sale of the Victory Bar & Grill, a staple of the South Jersey and Philadelphia sports and dining scene.
Located at 795 Route 73 in West Berlin, the sale of the award-winning establishment marks another significant transaction for the firm, which has specialized in food and beverage real estate since 1978.
The Victory Bar & Grill was previously owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo Andy and Loukia Likogiannis. Under their leadership, the venue became a community landmark, eventually being voted “Best Sports Bar” by South Jersey Magazine.
The restaurant built its reputation on:
- Diverse Menu: Comfort food staples including wings, burgers, and cheesesteaks.
- Expansive Drink List: Featuring 28 craft beers on tap.
- The Ultimate Viewing Experience: 50 flat-screen TVs and a newly installed open-view pizza oven.
The deal was facilitated by Robert “Diner Bob” Gillis, a seasoned industry veteran with 28 years of experience in the food and beverage sector. Gillis, who joined Bielat Santore & Company in 2015, used his extensive background as a former owner of six restaurants to bridge the gap between the sellers’ legacy and the buyers’ future vision.
“Our focus is on preserving business legacies while maximizing value for both buyers and sellers,” stated the firm in their announcement, highlighting Gillis’s energetic and discreet approach to the sale.
The Victory Bar & Grill is situated on a massive 5.59-acre lot with over 670 feet of frontage on the high-traffic Route 73, which sees upwards of 70,000 vehicles daily. The 13,000-square-foot facility has seen continuous investment, including major renovations in 2022 and 2024.
Current features of the property include:
- 190-seat dining room.
- 130-seat bar area.
- 140-seat open-air patio (newly completed).
- Backyard space featuring a cornhole court.
Regulars can breathe a sigh of relief: the Victory Bar & Grill remains open and fully operational under its new ownership. While the new owners plan to preserve the “casual vibe” and the fan-favorite Sunday brunch buffet, they have teased upcoming enhancements focused on live entertainment and an even more immersive sports viewing experience.
