Sara Quigley, the former Chief of Staff to the New Jersey Attorney General, has joined The Stevens & Lee Companies as a shareholder, serving as the managing director of Stevens & Lee Public Affairs.
A veteran attorney with deep ties to state government, Quigley’s record of public service in New Jersey stretches back to 2013. She has held senior positions with the state’s Division of Criminal Justice and the Appellate Bureau, where she argued frequently before the New Jersey Appellate Division and has appeared numerous times before the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
In her role as chief of staff to the former New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin, she managed a department of more than 8,000 employees. Prior to this appointment, she served as senior counsel to the attorney general for two years, focusing on criminal justice initiatives, including criminal justice reform and cannabis legal and regulatory enforcement.
Quigley also served as the Attorney General designee on various commissions and interagency working groups throughout her tenure.
Skip Cimino, the senior managing director of Stevens & Lee Public Affairs, applauded the announcement.

Quigley clerked for the Honorable Michele M. Fox, J.S.C. (ret.), of the New Jersey Superior Court in Camden County. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and B.A. from Lafayette College.
