Brotherton Brewing Company, a staple of the South Jersey craft beer scene, will officially reopen its doors on June 27, under new ownership and a revitalized operational focus.
Led by hospitality veteran Eric De Angelis, the brewery aims to transform the space into a community-centric destination, combining on-site production with an enhanced guest experience.

Guests can look forward to a refurbished taproom featuring an immersive layout, new seating arrangements, and a shaded outdoor beer garden.
The brewery’s commitment to quality is underscored by the appointment of new Head Brewer Kyle Lieving, who brings extensive experience from several prominent breweries in Charleston, South Carolina.
The taproom will debut with 10 beers on rotation, featuring a diverse range of styles including the flagship Brotherton IPA, pilsners, sours, a hefeweizen, a kolsch, and a hazy IPA. Prices will range from $5 to $7.50, with options for 16-ounce pours or custom tasting flights. For those abstaining from alcohol, the brewery will also serve a new house-made non-alcoholic root beer alongside other soft drink options.
To mark the grand reopening, Brotherton will host a weekend of family-friendly events:
- Saturday, June 27: Live music from 2–9 p.m. featuring Fin and Uncle John’s Band, with food available from The Nugget Chicks.
- Sunday, June 28: A musical performance by Grace Haley, food from JAMS Eats and JR Hot Dogs, and family activities including face painting.
Located at 2208 Atco Avenue, the brewery will offer six-pack cans to go during all operating hours, with plans to expand distribution to local bars and restaurants later this year.
New Operating Hours:
- Tuesday–Thursday: 5 p.m.–9 p.m.
- Friday: 4 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m.–7 p.m.
