The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) has officially opened early bird registration for the 14th Annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day. The state’s premier industry gathering is scheduled to take place on Oct. 2 at iPlay America in Freehold.
This year’s event carries special significance, serving as a dual celebration of NJMEP’s 30th anniversary and the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. Organizers expect another record-breaking turnout, building on last year’s success that brought together more than 1,000 manufacturers, students, educators, and industry leaders.
A milestone for New Jersey industry
Since its inception, ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day has evolved into the central hub for the state’s manufacturing sector. The event is designed to foster collaboration, recognize industry excellence, and provide a platform for leaders to discuss the future of the manufacturing landscape.
“For 30 years, NJMEP has had the privilege of working alongside New Jersey manufacturers as they innovate, grow, and strengthen our state’s economy,” Peter Connolly, CEO of NJMEP said. “This year’s Manufacturing Day is an opportunity to celebrate how far our industry has come while recognizing the manufacturers and partnerships that will drive the next generation of success.”
Attendees can look forward to a full day of programming, including:
- Keynote presentations: Insights from top industry leaders.
- Educational breakout sessions: Expert-led workshops on the latest manufacturing trends and technologies.
- Interactive exhibits: Showcasing the latest innovations from companies across diverse sectors.
- The ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day awards: A ceremony honoring the individuals and companies that have made the most significant impact on the New Jersey manufacturing community this year.
