Expanding its footprint within the SoHo West neighborhood, CULTR has signed a lease with RXR to introduce CULTR Athletic Club, a 12,000-square-foot fitness and wellness destination at Radio Lofts within the Hudson House Collection.
Slated to open in the first quarter of 2027, the new concept will occupy prominent ground-floor corner retail space with expansive street visibility. While founder and former professional MMA fighter Richie Van Houten will continue to operate the established CULTR Fight Club at nearby Hudson House East—focusing on boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts—the new Radio Lofts location will bridge the gap between boutique fitness studios and traditional gyms.
“We’ve been part of this neighborhood for three years and have watched it evolve around us,” Van Houten said. “With CULTR Athletic Club, we saw an opportunity to create something that doesn’t really exist here — a place where you can get a great workout, take a class, use high-level equipment and then recover with a sauna, steam or cold plunge, all in one environment.”
The facility will feature approximately 6,000 square feet dedicated to open training space, state-of-the-art equipment, and group classes including strength training, HIIT, yoga, and mat Pilates. An additional 3,500-square-foot wellness and recovery suite will house a 50-person sauna, a 20-person steam room, a hot pool, and a cold plunge, alongside a dedicated infrared hot yoga and Pilates studio and an on-site café serving coffee, smoothies, and protein drinks.

The Hudson House Collection—developed by a partnership of RXR, Columbia Property Trust, Strategic Value Partners (SVP), and One Investment Management (OneIM)—comprises 829 residences across Hudson House East, Hudson House West, and Radio Lofts, supported by approximately 48,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
