This Friday, the New Jersey Department of the Treasury and the New Jersey Business Action Center will host the NJ Pathways Business Forum. The event was designed for business owners seeking to better understand how to navigate public and private procurement processes.
Business owners will be able to connect directly with federal, State, and private organizations, including the U.S. Small Business Administration, University Hospital, New Jersey Department of Transportation, NJ Transit, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, NJ Department of Environmental Protection, NJ Economic Development Authority, South Jersey Industries, PSE&G, Turner Construction Company, and SHI, a previously certified small business enterprise that has grown while working with the State.
There will also be coordinated matchmaking sessions and will feature workshops throughout the day, including sessions on understanding procurement processes, capital resources, and public and private procurement opportunities.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, Livingston Campus, and will run until 5 p.m. Breakfast will be available at 8 a.m.
