CarePlus NJ, a certified community behavioral health clinic that has long been a leader in providing mental health, addiction recovery and community-based services recently honored those who strive to do the same at its 27th annual Courage Awards Gala.
CarePlus NJ CEO Brigitte Johnson said the organization raised more than $250,000, thanks to the generosity of donors and attendees, and proceeds from live and silent auctions.
The money raised will help CarePlus continue to support a range of vital programs, including educational scholarships, housing and medication assistance, substance use services, outpatient treatment for all ages, and community advocacy and education.
The organization’s goal is to offer affordable, accessible, and holistic-centered care that empowers individuals to reach their full potential and enhance their quality of life.
