Jane Allerman-Rey of Spencer Savings Bank received the Woman of Impact Award from the New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) during the Association’s annual Banking on Women Conference on June 4.
Allerman-Rey is the president and chief operating officer at Spencer Savings Bank, where she has been employed since 1993. She is responsible for all areas of retail banking, lending and support divisions, and ensures that Spencer’s business processes keep up with the bank’s growth plans.
“Jane Allerman-Rey is an exceptional leader, and we are grateful for her service to the banking industry and to our Association,” Michael Affuso, president & CEO of NJBankers said. “Because of leaders such as herself, our industry is strong and will continue to thrive and innovate.”
In her nomination for the award, Allerman-Rey was described as a strong role model who inspires future generations of female leaders. She is a strong supporter of community banks and a leader in corporate philanthropy – integrating philanthropic partnerships into the bank’s core strategy and culture and always empowering Spencer’s employees to drive meaningful impact in the communities the bank serves.
“I am very proud to have dedicated over 30 years of my professional life to leading one of New Jersey’s strongest community banks.
