Walters, a leading New Jersey developer of sustainable housing, has officially opened the housing lottery for Cornerstone at Galloway III. This final phase of the high-end, income-restricted community is currently under construction at 110 South Wrangleboro Road and is slated for completion in the spring of 2026.
The lottery offers a critical opportunity for families and individuals seeking modern, affordable housing in Atlantic County. Applications are being accepted through Monday, March 2, with the official drawing scheduled for Monday, March 9.
Cornerstone at Galloway III will introduce 66 new units across a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. Designed with both aesthetics and the environment in mind, the development is LEED certified, a hallmark of Walters’ commitment to “green” building practices that lower utility costs and improve indoor air quality for residents.
“At Walters, we’re proud to provide vital income-based apartments and services to people who need it the most,” Joe Del Duca, partner and director of Affordable Housing for Walters said. “Our goal is to provide residents with the opportunity to live, work, and play directly within the communities they serve.”
The community is designed to function as a self-contained neighborhood, offering residents more than just a place to sleep. Key features include:
-
Private entrances: Every unit features a private front door opening directly to the street, fostering a sense of individual home ownership.
-

-
On-site perks: A multipurpose clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness center, basketball court, computer workstations, and a children’s playground.
